*Before you read this review, just know I am NOT April Foolin’ you, this product is truly amazing! Hope you don’t get fooled too much today!*
Most recently, I have been obsessing over Michael Todd products. Various bloggers were talking about how incredible Michael Todd products are, so I decided to give them a shot! When it comes to skincare lines, I am very skeptical of trying new brands out due to my skin being very sensitive. However, since Michael Todd uses about 98% or higher organic ingredients in their products, I decided to give their products a go! In addition to their products being organic, they do not use added water, and are free of parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrance or artificial dyes. Compared to most skincare products on the market, Michael Todd seems probably one of the most safe haven skincare brands out there.
One of the products I have been really enjoying is their Jojoba Charcoal Facial Scrub. Prior to buying these products, I had been reading how Charcoal is great for detoxifying the skin. Charcoal has been proven to kill bacteria, eliminate dead skin cells, speed the healing of wounds, and help reduce cellulite. According to Michael Todd.com, their Jojoba Charcoal Facial Scrub is “formulated with Jojoba Wax Beads and Activated Charcoal to effectively remove dead skin, impurities and toxins. Jojoba Wax Beads provide gentle exfoliation without leaving microlacerations on delicate skin. Highly absorbent Activated Charcoal penetrates deeply into pores to draw out impurities and toxins. Refines texture and encourages skin renewal, leaving skin smooth and refreshed.”
Before reviewing this product, I wanted to test it out for a month to see if I truly liked the results. After a month use, I am very happy with how this product has treated my skin. I can also see a huge improvement in my acne scars fading.
If you’re looking for a new skin care line to try out, I HIGHLY recommend Michael Todd. I will be doing future reviews on other Michael Todd products as well.
Have you used any skin care products that contain charcoal? I would love to hear what some of your favorites are!
